Welcome to the GDUT University Town Library

Our History

Guangdong University of Technology (GDUT) began undergraduate education in 1958. In 1995, three institutes merged to form GDUT, and in 2004 the university moved into Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center, where this library building stands. Today the GDUT Library spans five campuses with a total area of more than 100,000 m², over 7,000 reading seats, and about 4.6 million printed volumes (as of December 2025).
